If this template is the default single gift entry template, you can add a postprocessing
step. If the conditions you’ve specified are met, this step opens after you’ve finished the
entry of the gift.
The postprocessing step can be any step that’s not currently supported by the Gift Entry Grid and that requires the ID of the Gift Transaction or Gift Entry record. For custom steps added within a column or modal and that need the Gift Transaction ID, create a record-triggered Flow, or some other automation, to run after the Gift Entry record is processed. For example, after processing the gift, you can add a step to create a gift tribute.
- Under Gift Entry Post Processing, click Add Step.
- On the Add Post Processing Component window, select a custom or packaged Lightning Web Component for the step.
- To set the component visibility, click Add Condition, and then complete the fields and click Done.
-
Save your work.
You can add a postprocessing step to any template, but it’s only used if the template is the default for single gift entry.
- After your template customization is complete, save your work.
Your new template is in the Gift Entry Grid Layout Templates table.
Set a Window to Open from the Gift Entry Grid
