            Import Gift Entries to a Gift Batch by Using CSV Data Management for Industries Nonprofit

            Import large volumes of donation data to Salesforce by using a gift batch and the CSV Data Management common component. CSV Data Management reduces manual data entry and the risk of errors by using CSV files to import data into Salesforce objects.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience

            Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Nonprofit Cloud
            User Permissions Needed  
            To use CSV Data Management:

            Basic CSV Data Import permission set

            OR

            Basic CSV Data Import User Permission system permission
            To create and process a gift batch:

            FundraisingAccess permission set
            1. Create a gift batch and copy the Batch ID value. See Create a Gift Batch.
            2. Prepare your data for import. See CSV File Readiness.
            3. Add a Batch ID column to your CSV for import and paste the Batch ID value of your gift batch into every gift entry row in the import.
            4. Import the gift entries by using CSV File Import. See Import CSV Files.
            5. Review and process the gift batch. See Process a Gift Batch.
