Add a Designation to a Gift Commitment in Nonprofit

Allocate or reallocate gift amounts associated with a gift commitment to gift designations of the donor's choice.

To edit gift commitments:

FundraisingAccess permission set
  1. From the App Launcher (App Launcher), find and select Gift Commitments.
  2. Open a gift commitment.
  3. Click Manage Gift Default Designations.

    The Gift Default Designations section lists the gift default designations from the associated opportunity or campaign. If there are no gift default designations, then the org-wide default designation is listed with 100% allocation.

  4. To add designations, click Add Row. Or modify an existing entry, such as change its allocation ratio. The sum of percentage values for all gift default designations must be equal to or less than 100.
  5. Save your changes.

Note To allocate or modify gift default designations for campaigns and opportunities, add the Gift Default Designations related list to the Campaign and Opportunity objects.
