Update Philanthropic Research Page Layouts in Nonprofit
Add buttons to Philanthropic Research record pages to easily launch the Philanthropic
Research: Promote Party Philanthropic Indicator to Party Philanthropic Occurrence and Create
Research Request Case flows.

User Permissions Needed
To create and add a button to page layouts:
Fundraising_Admin permission set group
From the object management settings for Party Philanthropic Indicator, click
Buttons, Links, and Actions.
Click New Button or Link.
In Label, enter Verify Indicator.
Press Tab to automatically fill the Name field.
Select Detail Page Button as the display type.
Select Display in new window as the behavior.
Select URL as the content source.
In the text box, enter the URL for your copy of the Prospect Research: Promote Party
Philanthropic Indicator to Party Philanthropic Occurrence flow. Make sure to include the input
variable for Party Philanthropic Indicator and a return URL.
For example,
/flow/<your_flow_name>?PartyPhilanthropicIndicatorId={!PartyPhilanthropicIndicator.Id
}&retUrl=/{!IF( ISNULL( PartyPhilanthropicIndicator.PartyPhilanthropicOccurrenceId) ,
PartyPhilanthropicIndicator.Id ,
PartyPhilanthropicIndicator.PartyPhilanthropicOccurrenceId)}.
Save your changes.
Add the new Verify Indicator button to your Party Philanthropic Indicator page layout.
Similarly, create a Request Research button configured with the Prospect Research: Create
Research Request Case flow, and add the button to the Interaction Summary, Party Philanthropic
Assessment, Party Philanthropic Indicator, Party Philanthropic Milestone, and Party
Philanthropic Occurrence page layouts.
