Provide Template Access for Acknowledgment Generation in Nonprofit

Create a public group to assign users with the permissions and access to generate gift acknowledgments.

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Nonprofit Cloud
User Permissions Needed  
To provide access to templates and gift acknowledgment generation:

Fundraising_Admin permission set group
  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and select Public Groups.
  2. To create a new public group, click New.
  3. In Label, enter a name. For instance, Gift Acknowledgments & Tax Receipts.

    The Group Name field automatically populates from the Label field.

  4. In Search, select Users.
  5. From the Available Members list, select the users who create Gift Acknowledgments and add them to the Selected Members list.
  6. Save your changes.
    Note
    Note In the future, if more users must create gift acknowledgments, give them the DocGen licenses and add them to this public group. If DocGen access is removed from a user, remove th user from this public group. Users who aren't part of this public group can't see the option to generate gift acknowledgments or receipts.
