Configure Donor Brief Generation in Nonprofit
Enable document generation settings and create a public group to provide template access for donor brief generation.

| To configure donor brief generation: | Fundraising_Admin permission set group |
- From Setup, click Feature Settings.
- Click Document Generation, and then click General Settings.
- Turn on Design Document Templates in Salesforce.
- Go to Document Generation Settings.
- Click New.
- In the Label field, enter DocumentGenerationSetting.
- In the Document Template Library Name field, enter DocGenDocumentTemplateLibrary.
- In Preview Type, select PDF.
- Turn on Enable Server-Side Documentation Generation.

Click Create.
Next, provide template access for donor brief generation.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and select Public Groups.
- To create a new public group, click New.

In Label, enter a name. For instance, Donor Brief
2024.
The Group Name field is automatically populated based on the label name.
- In Search, select Users.
- From the Available Members list, select the users who create donor briefs and add them to the Selected Members list.
- Save your changes.
Note In the future, if more users must create donor briefs, give them the DocGen
licenses and add them to this public group. If DocGen access is removed from a user,
remove the user from this public group. Users who aren't part of this public group,
can't see the option to create donor briefs.
