Set Up and Install Fundraising Intelligence in Nonprofit
Set up Fundraising Intelligence to access dashboards and analytics. To set up Fundraising Intelligence, you need to create and map Data 360 assets and ingest Data 360 data.

Launch the Guided Setup
Use the Fundraising Intelligence guided setup to guide your configuration of Data 360, Tableau Next, and Fundraising Intelligence.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Fundraising Intelligence, and then select Fundraising Intelligence.
- As you progress through the setup steps, refresh the page to view the completed steps. Completed steps are marked with a green check mark.
Configure Access to Fundraising Intelligence in Nonprofit
Assign permissions to view and manage Fundraising Intelligence.
- Expand Configure Access to Fundraising Intelligence.

To assign the Fundraising Intelligence Admin permission set to authorized
admins, click Assign Admin Permissions.
The Permission Sets page opens where you can assign the Data Cloud Admin and Fundraising Intelligence Admin permission sets to the admin user.

To assign the Fundraising Intelligence User permission set to Fundraising
users, click Assign View Permission.
The Permission Sets page opens where you can assign the Data Cloud User, Fundraising Intelligence User and the Tableau Next Limited Consumer or Tableau Next Included App Business User permission sets to the users who need view-only access.
Set Up Data 360 for Fundraising Intelligence in Nonprofit
Connect your Salesforce org to Data 360 to access and analyze your fundraising data.
- Current user is system admin
- Fundraising is enabled in your Salesforce org
- User has Data 360 Architect access
- Expand Set Up Data Cloud Prerequisites.
- Read and accept the disclaimer about the different privacy and security protections followed by Tableau Next services.

To enable Data 360, click
Configure, make sure “SSOT Package” is set to
“Install”, then click Get Started.
Your current org automatically connects to Data 360.

To connect a different org to Data 360, in the Connect
to Data 360 step, click Connect.
The Data 360 Salesforce CRM Configuration page opens, where you can connect additional orgs.
- If you previously configured Data 360 without the single source of truth (SSOT) package, in the Install the Single Source of Truth Package step, click Install.

To provide Data 360 users access to Fundraising
Intelligence, click Configure Data Cloud
Access.
This action gives Data 360 users read and view access to Fundraising objects and fields, and assigns the Fundraising user permission set to the integration user. This access is not Create, Read, Update, Delete (CRUD) compliant. Users with access to Fundraising Intelligence are able to see all metrics on the dashboards, including those coming from objects or fields they don't have read access to.

To create Fundraising data streams, click Create Data
Streams.
The Data Stream page opens.

Create the data streams.
- On the Data Streams tab, click New.
- Select Salesforce CRM and click Next.
- Make sure that Data Bundles is selected.

Under Standard Data Bundles, click Fundraising Data
Bundle, and click Next.
By default, All Fundraising Data Bundle objects are selected.
- Click Next.
- Make sure that the data space where you want to install Fundraising Intelligence is selected, and click Next.

On the Data Stream Bundle Configuration Details page, click
Deploy.
The data streams appear in the Data Streams tab.

To make sure that all of the data streams have ingested the data, on each
data stream page, click Refresh Now.
Make sure that each data stream shows the Success for Last Run Status confirmation. After the initial run of the data streams, the Salesforce CRM connector conducts full and incremental refreshes on a set schedule, requiring no action from you.
Install Fundraising Intelligence in Nonprofit
After your Nonprofit Cloud data is ingested into Data 360, you’re ready to install Fundraising Intelligence.
- Expand Set Up Fundraising Intelligence.

To begin installation, click Install.
If you have multiple data spaces, select the same one where you deployed Fundraising Data Streams.
Installation can take up to 10 minutes to complete.
If your installation fails, refresh the page. If a “Fundraising Intelligence” tab is visible, delete the App, then try the installation again after all the data streams have successfully ingested data.
