Clone Templates for Fundraising Data Rollups and Lists in Nonprofit
Create Actionable Lists and Fundraising rollups and summaries with Data Pipelines and Data Processing Engine.

| To clone and activate Fundraising DPE templates: | Fundraising_Admin permission set group |
To create and run Data Processing Engine definitions, enable Data Pipelines. The Data Processing Engine increases processing power and data manipulation.
To set up Fundraising with DPE, clone the DonorGiftSummary, GiftDesignation, OutreachSummary, and Fundraising Account Actionable List templates and run them.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter data processing, and then select Data Processing Engine.
- From the Data Processing Engine Definitions list, open the DonorGift Summary template.

Click
and select Save As.
- Give a name to the new template and make sure that the API Name populates from the Name field.
- Save the cloned template.

Click Activate.
By default, Salesforce recalculates your rollups nightly and you can customize the schedule in Data Processing Engine.
- Click Run Definition, and click Next.

Enter the date values for the calendar input variables, and click
Next.
Note For example: if you're setting up rollups in the year 2024, enter 1/1/2024 for This Year, 1/1/2023 for Last Year, and 1/1/2022 for Two Years Ago. -
If you want to keep a record for troubleshooting, select Show output
record count for nodes.
You can select up to 10 nodes to track.
- Click Run Definition.
- Similarly, clone the Gift Designation, Outreach Summary, and Fundraising Account Actionable List templates.
You can set up Flows to run the Data Processing Engine definitions automatically. To set up gift commitment rollup calculations, schedule a gift commitment batch processing job.
