Change the Dates of a Recurring Gift Commitment in Nonprofit

Change the start and end dates of a gift commitment schedule.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Nonprofit Cloud
User Permissions Needed  
To change the dates of a recurring gift commitment:

FundraisingAccess permission set
  1. From the App Launcher (App Launcher), find and select Gift Commitments.
  2. Select the gift commitment that you want to change.
  3. Click Show More and then select Update Dates.
  4. Select the schedule that you want to change.
  5. Select the new dates.

    Unpaid gift transactions with due dates that fall within the new effective dates are removed after the commitment is processed.

  6. Optionally, enter an update reason.
  7. Save your changes.
