Change the Payment Method of a Recurring Gift Commitment in Nonprofit

You can specify different payment methods for specific periods within a commitment schedule.

User Permissions Needed
To change the payment of a recurring gift commitment:	FundraisingAccess permission set

From the App Launcher (), find and select Gift Commitments.
Select the gift commitment that you want to change.
Click and then select Update Payment Method.
Select the schedule that you want to change.
Select a payment method and enter any associated payment instrument information, such as Last 4 and expiration dates.
Note A payment method of ACH or credit card, and at least the Last 4 field populated, adds a payment instrument lookup to the schedule. This lookup creates a payment instrument record if none previously existed.
Select the effective start date.
If needed, select the effective end date, an update reason, and the campaign that the commitment applies to.
If the new payment method applies to the entire schedule, in the effective start and end date fields, select the schedule start and end dates.
Unpaid gift transactions with due dates that fall within the new effective dates are removed after the commitment is processed.
Save your changes.
