Use the Manage Gift Commitments Subagent in Nonprofit
After you set up the Donor Support agent, donors can access the agent from your Experience Cloud site donor portal.

With the Manage Gift Commitments subagent, a donor can use the agent to accomplish these tasks.
- Pause a gift commitment
- Resume a paused gift commitment
- Permanently close a gift commitment
- Change the amount of a gift commitment
Here are some examples of requests that a donor can use with the agent.

| Can I see my donations? | The agent returns the name, status, and schedule type of the active recurring gift commitment for the user’s account and asks if the user would like to proceed with managing the commitment and if yes, what action they’d like to take. |
| Pause | The agent asks for the start date for the pause, and if applicable, the end date. |
| Start pause today and pause for 3 months | The agent returns confirmation that the recurring donation is paused starting today and resumes at the end of three months. The agent asks the user to confirm this result is correct. |
| Cancel my recurring donation | The agent returns the name, status, and schedule type of the active recurring gift commitment for the user’s account and asks if the user would like to proceed with canceling this commitment. |
| Change the amount of my monthly donation | The agent returns the name, status, and schedule type of the active recurring gift commitment for the user’s account and asks if the user would like to proceed with changing the amount of this monthly commitment. |
