Set up sharing sets to define how your users access the grants portal.

To submit an application, grantseekers need Read access to their User record in order to transfer ownership from the site user to a default internal user. This allows grantseekers to view their submitted application.

To submit an application, grantseekers need Read access to their User record in order to transfer ownership from the site user to a default internal user. This allows grantseekers to view their submitted application.
Note Every org is unique, and giving Public Read Only access on the User object’s default external access may expose fields and data you otherwise would not want visible to site users. We recommend testing in a Sandbox org first.

Click
, then click Setup. -
Enter Sharing in the Quick Find Box, then click Sharing Settings.

Click Edit.

Select Public Read Only as the Default External Access on the User object.

Click Save.
