Post Installation Tasks
If you installed Grants Management and aren't familiar with the new metadata, we recommend taking time after installing to review.

The custom objects—Funding Programs, Funding Requests, Funding Request Roles, Requirements, Reviews Disbursements—to ensure they meet the needs of your organization. For example, your organization can add an additional field for notes on the Disbursements object.

The picklist values within the new custom objects. You can change the values that don't quite align with your organization. For example, your organization can configure the Population Served field on the Funding Request object. It’s simple to update, add, or remove values. See Add or Edit Picklist Values in Salesforce Help for more information.

The page layouts for the new custom objects. Some fields may need to be added or removed based on your organization and its users. See Page Layouts in Salesforce Help for more information.
- Assign the Requirement Compact Page Layout
The Requirement Compact Layout is included to provide a simplified view of Requirement records and used in various locations in Grants Management. - Assign the Grants Management Requirement Layout
The Grants Management Requirement Layout includes the Is Add Files Visible? field on the Requirement. When a grantmaker creates a Requirement and selects Is Add Files Visible?, a grantseeker is able to upload attachments to their assigned Requirement. - Assign the Grants Management Review Layout
The Grants Management Review Layout is streamlined for the Review Workspace.
Assign the Requirement Compact Page Layout
The Requirement Compact Layout is included to provide a simplified view of Requirement records and used in various locations in Grants Management.

, and then click Setup. -
Click Object Manager.

Click Requirements.

Click Compact Layouts.

Select Requirement Compact Layout as the Primary Compact Layout.

Save your work.
Assign the Grants Management Requirement Layout
The Grants Management Requirement Layout includes the Is Add Files Visible? field on the Requirement. When a grantmaker creates a Requirement and selects Is Add Files Visible?, a grantseeker is able to upload attachments to their assigned Requirement.

Click Requirement.

Click Page Layouts.

Click Page Layout Assignment.

Click Edit Assignment.

Select the profiles to assign the Grants Management Requirement Layout to. Profiles assigned will have the Is Add Files Visible? field available on a Requirement, which a grantmaker can select to allow a grantseeker or grantee to upload attachments to an assigned Requirement.

From Page Layout to Use, select Grants Management Requirement Layout.

Save your work.
Assign the Grants Management Review Layout
The Grants Management Review Layout is streamlined for the Review Workspace.

Click Object Manager.

Click Review.

Click Page Layouts.

Click Page Layout Assignment.

Click Edit Assignment.

Select profiles to assign the Grants Management Review Layout to.

From Page Layout To Use, select Grants Management Review Layout.
