          GM Set Funding Program Visibility

          Configure who can access the funding programs.

          • Choose Who Sees Funding Programs
            Every organization is different, which is why we put the decision about who is allowed to see your Funding Programs in your hands. By default, Funding Programs are not visible to guest users on your portal, but you can choose to give access to your users based on your organization's preferences.
          • Make Funding Programs Visible to Guest Users
            Open your Funding Programs to be visible to all users, even those who aren't registered on your portal. This is important if your organization wants grantseekers to find your available Funding Programs organically.

          Choose Who Sees Funding Programs

          Every organization is different, which is why we put the decision about who is allowed to see your Funding Programs in your hands. By default, Funding Programs are not visible to guest users on your portal, but you can choose to give access to your users based on your organization's preferences.

          Public Access

          Public access to Funding Programs allows your grantseekers to view all Funding Programs, regardless of status.

          1. Click Setup, then click Setup.

          2. Enter Sharing in the Quick Find box, then click Sharing Settings.

          3. Click Edit.

          4. Select Public Read Only for the Funding Program's default external access.

          5. Click Save.

          Criteria-based Access

          If you used the Grants Management and Build Community installer, you already have a sharing rule that gives external users, such as a grantseekers, Read access to the Funding Request and Requirement objects based on the user's Account or Contact.

          If you used the Grants Management installer, you can create a similar sharing rule.

          1. Click Setup, then click Setup.

          2. Enter Sharing in the Quick Find box, then click Sharing Settings.
          3. Scroll down to Funding Program Sharing Rules, then click New.
          4. Enter a Label. For example, Shared Based on Status. The Rule Name autofills.
          5. Optionally, enter a Description.
          6. Select Based on criteria as the rule type.
          7. Select the Field. In this example, select Status.
          8. Select the Operator. In this example, select not equal to.
          9. Enter the Value. In this example, enter Planned, Completed, Aborted. This hides any Funding Program with that status from the user.
          10. Select All Customer Portal Users from the Shared with dropdown.
          11. Click Save.

          Make Funding Programs Visible to Guest Users

          Open your Funding Programs to be visible to all users, even those who aren't registered on your portal. This is important if your organization wants grantseekers to find your available Funding Programs organically.

          Update the Guest User Profile

          1. Click Setup, then click Setup.

          2. Enter Digital Experiences in the Quick Find box, then click All Sites.

          3. Click Builder for your site.

          4. Click Settings to open Settings.

          5. Click the profile listed under Guest User Profile.

            Click the guest user profile
          6. Scroll to Funding Program under Custom Field-Level Security, then click View.
          7. Click Edit.
          8. Ensure the guest user profile has Read access to all fields.
          9. Click Save.

          Create a Sharing Rule

          1. Click Setup, then click Setup.

          2. Enter Sharing in the Quick Find box, then click Sharing Settings.

          3. Scroll down to Funding Program Sharing Rules, then click New.

          4. Enter a Label. For example, Guest Access.

          5. Press tab to autofill the Rule Name.

          6. Optionally, enter a Description.

          7. Select Guest user access, based on criteria.

          8. Select the Field. In this example, select Status.

          9. Select the Operator. In this example, select not equal to.

          10. Enter the Value. In this example, enter Planned, Completed, Aborted. This displays only active Funding Programs to guest users.

          11. Select the guest user profile from Share with.

            Configure the sharing rule
          12. Click Save.
