K-12 Architecture Kit can be installed in Enterprise and Unlimited Edition Lightning Platform orgs with licenses for these Cloud services:

• Service Cloud—Manage student enrollment, counseling, or case management.
• Sales Cloud—Draft quotes and invoices for students.
• Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud, as needed to support your organization's business requirements. Set up an online portal for applicants to apply, check on application status, add supporting documents, and more.

The best way to get started with K-12 Architecture Kit is with a trial, which provides the app preconfigured in a new Salesforce org. If you'd rather install K-12 Architecture Kit in an existing org, make sure that you meet the installation prerequisites.

Install Salesforce in an Existing Org

If you prefer to install K-12 Architecture Kit in an existing org rather than starting with the trial, use the installer.

Important We highly recommend installing in a Sandbox org and testing thoroughly before installing in an existing Production org.

1. Make sure you're logged out of all other Salesforce orgs. Consider using an incognito window to log in to the desired org.
2. Go to the K-12 Architecture Kit installer page.

3. Click Install K-12 Architecture Kit-View Details.

4. Click Log In to Install.
5. Choose Production or Developer Org, Sandbox or Scratch Org, or Use Custom Domain.

6. Acknowledge the product terms of use and click Confirm.

7. Click Install.

   

   Note Unpackaged objects won't deploy unless you choose to do so in the installation process.

If the installation succeeds, a confirmation page appears. If you encounter errors, get help resolving them by following the instructions in Reporting Issues.
