Post Installation Configuration

Start here if you installed Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) on top of your existing Salesforce org.

If you installed NPSP from the Trial, the required and recommended configuration steps have been done for you. You can skip ahead to Feature Configuration.

1. Required Configuration—Outlines the configuration needed to make NPSP function as intended, like the Trial.

2. Recommended Configuration—We highly recommend performing these steps as they will help your users find information and work more efficiently.

Note Always install products and test configuration in a Sandbox environment before doing so in your Production organization. Use the Sandbox to verify that you don’t unintentionally overwrite any of your own custom page layouts, record types, or other customizations.
