Add organization accounts or custom objects to program engagements and service deliveries, and and customize recipients on bulk service deliveries, quick actions, and record naming.

Services, Program Engagements, and Contacts have a Create New Service Delivery quick action that allows users to create a new Service Delivery from individual records. Customize the quick action for each object to reflect an Organization Account, Household Account, or a custom object. - Customize Record Naming
Program Engagements and Service Deliveries are automatically named to reflect the associated Client.
Add Organization Accounts or Custom Objects to Program Engagements and Service Deliveries
Create relationships between your Organization Account or custom object and Program Engagements or Service Deliveries.
If you haven't already set up a custom object, see Create a Custom Object before continuing.
Add Organization Accounts or Custom Objects to Program Engagements
By default, Program Engagements support Clients and Household Accounts, but you can add an Organization Account or custom object by creating a relationship.

In Setup, click the Object Manager tab, then click Program Engagement.

Click Fields & Relationships.

Click New.
-
Select Lookup Relationship, then click Next.

Select an object:

For a custom object, select the custom object.

For Organization Account, select Account.

Click Next.

In Field Label, enter a name for the field that reflects the recipient, such as the name of the custom object or the type of organization.

If you want, enter additional details, then click Next.

Set appropriate field-level security, then click Next.

Select the Program Engagement Layout, then click Next.

Optionally, deselect Add Related List next to a page layout name if you don't want to add the object's related list.

Save.
To remove fields you don’t plan to use, edit the Case Management Program Engagement Layout page layout. See Page Layouts in Salesforce Help.
Add Organization Accounts or Custom Objects to Service Deliveries
By default, Service Deliveries support Clients and Household Accounts, but you can add an Organization Account or custom object by creating a relationship.

In Setup, click the Object Manager tab, then click Service Delivery.

Click Fields & Relationships.

Click New.
-
Select Lookup Relationship, then click Next.

Select an object:

For a custom object, select the custom object.

For Organization Account, select Account.
-

Click Next.
-
In Field Label, enter a name for the field that reflects the recipient, such as the name of the custom object or the type of organization.

If you want, enter additional details, then click Next.

Set appropriate field-level security, then click Next.

Select the Service Delivery Layout, then click Next.

Optionally, deselect Add Related List next to a page layout name if you don't want to add the object's related list.

Save.
To remove fields you don’t plan to use, edit the Service Delivery Layout page layout. See Page Layouts in Salesforce Help.
Customize Recipients on Bulk Service Deliveries
Customize Bulk Service Deliveries to use Household Account, an Organization Account, a custom object, or to remove Client.
If your organization uses a custom object or Organization Account, complete the steps in Add Organization Accounts or Custom Objects to Program Engagements and Service Deliveries first.
In Setup, click the Object Manager tab, then click Service Delivery.
Click Fields Sets.
Click Bulk Service Deliveries.
Drag fields to and from the palette and In the Field Set.
Important Don't remove the Service field. The options available in each field are filtered based on user selections in the Program Engagement and Service fields, so we recommend Program Engagement as the first field and Service as the second field, regardless of which fields you add or remove.To remove Clients, remove the Client field.
For households, add the Household Account field and optionally add the Household Benefit field.
For Organization Accounts, add the lookup field to the Organization Account, which may be named Account or may have a custom name. Remove the Client field to use an Organization Account.
For a custom object, add the lookup field to the custom object.
If you don't use Program Engagements because you don't track recipients of your services, you can remove Program Engagements.
To make a field required, click
next to the field, then select Required.Click Save.
Customize Quick Actions
Services, Program Engagements, and Contacts have a Create New Service Delivery quick action that allows users to create a new Service Delivery from individual records. Customize the quick action for each object to reflect an Organization Account, Household Account, or a custom object.
- In Setup, click the Object Manager tab, then click Service.
Click Buttons, Links, and Actions.

Click Create New Service Delivery.

Click Edit Layout.

Drag the fields to and from the palette and the layout.

To remove Clients, remove the Client field.

For households, add the Household Account field.
-
For Organization Accounts, add the lookup field to the Organization Account, which may be named Account or may have a custom name.

For a custom object, add the lookup field to the custom object.

Click Save.
- Repeat these steps, but in step 3, click Program Engagement to update the quick action on Program Engagements.
- If you use Contacts, optionally repeat these steps, but in step 3, click Contact. You can only add Household Account to Contact.
Customize Record Naming
Program Engagements and Service Deliveries are automatically named to reflect the associated Client.
Program Engagements follow the format Contact Name Start Date: Program Name and Service Deliveries follow the format Contact Name Start Date: Service.
To change Program Engagement and Service Delivery names to reflect non-Client recipients, see Customize Record Naming.
