          Set Up Pathways to Build Personal Program Plans

          Complete these tasks to give support staff and students the ability to create Personal Program Plans in Student Success Hub.

          Note
          Note Requires a Customer Community Plus or Customer Community Plus Login license, such as through Experience Cloud for Learner Success.

          Give Support Staff Access to Personal Program Plans in the App

          After you give support staff access to Program Plans, give them the ability to create Personal Program Plans.

          Add a Program Plans Related List to the Student Record Case

          To let support staff create a new Personal Program Plan for a student, add a Program Plans related list to the Student Record Case.

          1. From any Student Record Case, click the gear icon and select Edit Page.

          2. Select the Tabs component and add a new tab with a custom tab label called Program Plans.

            Customize this label as you see fit—just try to keep it short so that it fits easily on the page.

          3. Click Done.

          4. Select the tab you just created and drag the Personal Program Plans Related List component to the tab.

          5. Save your changes.

          Note
          Note You can also add this component to other places, such as in a standard navigation app on the Contact page.

          Add Plan Builder to the Personal Program Plan Record Page

          1. From any Student Record Case, click the gear icon and click Edit Page.

          2. Select the Tabs component and add a new tab with a custom tab label called Plan Builder.

            Customize this label as you see fit.
          3. Click Done.
          4. Select the tab you just created and drag the Plan Builder component to the tab.

          5. Save your changes.

          6. Return to the tab you created and select Plan Builder as the Default Tab.

          7. Save your changes again.

          Add Personal Program Plans to the Student Success Hub App

          To let support staff view all the Personal Program Plans they have access to, add the Personal Program Plans item to the navigation menu.

          1. Verify that your support staff profile has access to the Personal Program Plans tab.

          2. Add the Personal Program Plans item to the app. See Set Up Student Success Hub App Basics.

          Give Students Access to Personal Program Plans in the Portal

          After you give students access to Program Plans, give them the ability to create Personal Program Plans.

          See Set Up Pathways.

          1. Set up the Plan Builder page.

            1. In Experience Builder, from the Pages menu, click New Page.

            2. Select Standard Page and choose a full-width column layout.

            3. Click Next.

            4. Name your page. We recommend naming it Plan Builder.

            5. Drag the SSH Program Plan Builder component to the Content section.

          2. Add the Plan Builder page to the navigation menu.

            1. In Experience Builder, select the Navigation Menu component and in the property editor click Edit Default Navigation.

            2. Click Add Menu Item.

              • For Name, enter a label, such as Plan Builder.

              • For Type, select Site Page.

              • For Page, select Plan Builder.

            3. Click Save Menu.

          3. Preview and publish your changes.

            1. Click Preview to check out your changes before you publish.

              Tip
              Tip To test the student experience with a Personal Program Plan, create a sample plan for a test student user.
            2. To save your changes, click Publish. On the confirmation screen, click Publish again.
