Set Up Data Bundles for Volunteer Management
The Volunteer Management data bundle is a tool to quickly and easily map your Volunteer Management objects to data model objects in Data Cloud. After you’ve mapped your objects, you can take advantage of Data Cloud’s tools and analytics and combine your Salesforce data with additional data streams for a complete view of your organization’s stakeholders.

Follow these steps to connect your Volunteer Management data to Data 360.
Set Up the Data Bundle
Use the Volunteer Management data bundle guided setup to configure Data 360, create and map Data 360 assets, and ingest Data 360 data for Volunteer Management.
Find the Guided Setup
Before you begin, fulfill these prerequisites.
- Current user is a system admin.
- Volunteer Management is enabled in your Salesforce org.
- Data 360 is purchased for your Salesforce org.
Go to the guided setup for your data bundle.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Intelligence, and then select Volunteer Management Intelligence.

Accept the disclaimer.
As you progress through the setup steps, refresh the page to view the completed steps. Completed steps are marked with a green check mark.
Set Up Data 360

Assign user permissions to give yourself and other users access to Data
Cloud features and data.
- Assign the Data 360 Architect permission set to yourself (the admin user) and any other admins.
- Assign the Data 360 User permissions set to your users.

To connect your Salesforce org to Data 360, click Connect an
Org.
Your Salesforce org is shown as connected in the Standard Connections table. If you want to connect other data, from the Standard Data Bundles table, in the row for the bundle that you want to connect, select Install.
- If you have data stored in Marketing Cloud or Commerce Cloud, or in a third party source like Snowflake, Amazon S3, or Google Cloud Storage, click Connectors Guidance to open help to create connections to your data.
- To complete the Set Up Data 360 checklist, click Go to Data Cloud.
- Return to the Volunteer Management Intelligence setup page.
Configure Data 360 User Access
Provide the integration user with write access to the Volunteer Management objects and fields.
- From the Volunteer Management Intelligence setup page, go to the Configure Data 360 User Access step.

Click Configure Data Cloud Access.
The configuration is completed automatically.
Create Data Streams
- From the Volunteer Management Intelligence setup page, go to the Create Data Streams step.
- Click Create Data Streams.

Create data streams.
- Click New.
- Select Salesforce CRM and then click Next.
- Select the Salesforce org that you want to ingest data from.

Select the data bundle that you want to use to bring your CRM data
into Data 360.
For example: Select Volunteer Management Data Bundle to bring that data into Data Cloud.
- Click Next through the menus.
- Select your Data Space and click Deploy.
