Install Financial Services Cloud for Slack in Your Company's Workspace
Before your users get started with the Financial Services Cloud for Slack app, you must
work with the Slack admin at your company to install the app in your company’s Slack
workspace.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions
Available in: Slack (where approved by a workspace admin)
User Permissions Needed
To install the Financial Services Cloud for Slack app for all users in a
workspace:
Administrative access to your Slack account
To connect the Sales Cloud for Slack app to your Salesforce org:
Modify All Data
Connect Salesforce with Slack
Search the Slack App Directory for Financial Services Cloud for
Slack.
Verify that you want to add the app to the workspace that's shown on the Slack
authorization page. If the incorrect workspace is listed, change the workspace from the
dropdown menu that's available on the upper-right corner of the page.
When the authorization page shows the correct workspace, click
Allow.
To initiate the connection to Salesforce, click Connect.
Use your admin credentials to log in to the Salesforce org that you want to connect to your
Slack workspace. To log in to a custom domain, click the Use Custom
Domain link.
To agree to the terms, select the checkbox. Then to let Slack access your Salesforce
account, click Allow.
Close the successfully authorized browser window.
Financial Services Cloud for Slack is now available for your users to add to their individual
workspaces and connect
their
accounts directly from Slack.
