Fixing Legacy Partner Connect Export, Import, and Update Issues

Vendor and partner admins can learn how to build and run a Partner Connect Status report, interpret the results, and work with their peer admin to resolve problems. Partner admins can also use their import notification email to identify failed import and review advice for troubleshooting those issues.

Available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Sales or Service. Vendors must purchase a PRM add-on license for the partner admin user and each partner user who exports records. Partners aren’t required to purchase PRM licenses to use Legacy Partner Connect.

  Before addressing Partner Connect export, import, and update issues, vendor admins and partner admins must first understand what makes a data transaction successful. Then admins can learn where failed transactions are shown and what details are provided to resolve issues.

  Vendor and partner admins can diagnose recurring export, import, and update issues by building Partner Connect status reports and working together to interpret the issues.

  See the outbound and inbound statuses for records that are exported, imported, or updated by using Partner Connect. If you’re a vendor admin, you see export and update issues only (because vendor orgs don’t import data). If you’re a partner admin, you can see import and update issues only (because vendor orgs don’t export data).
