  1. Build and run a Partner Connect status report.
  2. Learn how to interpret outbound and inbound transaction failures.
  3. Check the Inbound and Outbound statuses and note any repeated failure statuses.
  4. Check the External Record Share Connection: Connection Name and note which connections are impacted by the failing transactions.
  5. Review Legacy Partner Connect Export, Import, and Update Statuses and follow its advice for addressing recurring transaction failures.

In some cases, resolving issues requires vendor and partner admins to both run Partner Connect reports and work together to compare and contrast issues. To cross-reference corresponding outbound and inbound transactions across reports, open the record that you want to trace from the report. Internal Record: Full Name shows leads and Internal Record: Opportunity Name shows opportunities. From the record view, check the connected external related list to see the name the external org is using for their version of the record. Next, each admin can return to their respective reports, check the corresponding outbound and inbound transaction statuses, and compare their findings.
