          Enable the Channel Management Console and Assign Permissions

          To give channel managers access to the Channel Management Console, Salesforce admins must enable the console, assign permissions, and share default components with channel managers, such as the Channel Management Overview Dashboard. Salesforce admins can customize the console some aspects of the console directly from PRM Setup, such as adding custom objects, adding the Leads to Review component, and setting Channel Management as the default app for channel managers. Salesforce admins can customize the console further from the App Builder by altering the Leads to Review component or creating other useful components and adding them to the console.

          Required Editions

          Available for channel managers in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Sales or Service. You must have at least one PRM add-on license.
          User Permissions Needed
          To set up the console:

          Customize Application

          AND

          View Setup and Configuration

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter PRM, and then select Channel Management.
          2. From the Manage Channels from a Console App section, turn on the Channel Management Console.
          3. Add custom objects to the console that your channel managers use regularly to manage partners.
            1. From the Add Custom Objects step, click Go to App Builder.
            2. Click Navigation Items and add objects to the default list.
            3. Click Save.
          4. Add the Leads to Review component to the console home page.
          5. Set Channel Management as the default app for channel managers.
            1. Return to the Manage Channels from a Console App section on the Channel Management page from step 2.
            2. From the Set Channel Management as the Default App step, click Go to Profiles.
            3. Click Edit for the profile that you use for your channel managers.
            1. Under Custom App settings, find the Channel Management app and select Default.
          6. Share the Channel Management Overview Dashboard with channel managers.
          7. Assign the channel manager permission set to channel managers.
            1. Return to the Manage Channels from a Console App section on the Channel Management page from step 2.
            2. From the Assign the Channel Manager Permission Set to Channel Managers step click Go to Permissions.
            3. Select the Channel Manager permission set and assign it to channel managers.

          After completing setup for the Channel Management Console, channel managers can access the console by searching for Channel Management in the App Launcher. Or, if you set the console as the default app, the console is displayed when channel managers log in to Salesforce.
