Add Users to a Swarm from Slack Easily

Start a swarm and give swarm members the information they need to collaborate successfully right from Slack. When you create a swarm from a Slack channel, include more details about what help you need, for example, when starting a swarm from Lightning Experience. Previously, the /service-swarm-start command in Slack didn’t include the What Do You Need Help With? field.

Where: The Service Cloud for Slack app works with Service Cloud in Lightning Experience for Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions. Available for use where approved by a workspace admin and installed in Slack.

Who: Users must have a permission set with these permissions: Connect Salesforce with Slack and Slack Service User. Specific features require more permissions. See Set Up Swarming User Permissions.

How: From a Slack channel with the Service Cloud for Slack app installed, enter /service-swarm-start, and choose to start a swarm in a new channel. Then, enter relevant context to the optional What Do You Need Help With? field.
