Add Apps in Your Personal Slack Sidebar
After your Salesforce and Slack admins have approved and installed Salesforce for Slack Integrations in your company's workspace, you can add them to your personal Slack sidebar and connect them to your Salesforce account.
To get started with Salesforce for Slack Integrations, follow these steps.
- In the Slack sidebar, click Apps. If necessary, locate Apps by clicking More first.
- Search for the Salesforce app, tool, or service you want, and then click to add it.
- Follow the prompt to connect your account.
- Enter your Salesforce username and password, and click Log In. Or, if your org uses a company-specific login URL, such as mycompany.my.salesforce.com, log in by clicking Use Custom Domain instead.
- Select I agree to allow Slack to access my Salesforce account, and then click Allow.
That’s it! Now you can start collaborating with colleagues to work faster and smarter in Slack!
