Assign PRM for Slack Permissions to Partners

Assign partners the permission sets needed to connect their partner experience to PRM for Slack. Permission sets for partners depend on which license they’re running.

To assign permissions:

View Setup and Configuration

Work with partner account managers to determine which license and corresponding permission set to assign to partner users. You can assign permissions through Initial Slack Setup, through the Profiles menu, or you can follow a few steps.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission, and then select Permission Sets.
  2. Select the PRM for Slack Partner app User permission set corresponding to your partner’s license.
    Note
    Note Portal access is controlled with permission sets, so this permission set or the partner's profile must be added to the portal.
  3. Click Manage Assignments.
  4. Click Add Assignments.
  5. Select the partners you want to assign to this permission set.
  6. Click Assign.
