Manage the Slack Lightning Web Component on Record Pages
Follow these guidelines to use Salesforce channels on a record page via the Lightning
web component. When a record page contains a Slack channel component, users in Salesforce can view
or create a Slack channel for that record.

User Permissions Needed
To add the Slack component to record pages:
Salesforce admin
After you choose which objects to support in the setup process, add the Slack channel
component for those record pages in Lightning App Builder.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and select Slack Channels for
Records.
In the Configured Objects section, open the dropdown next to an object and select
View Record Pages.
Click Edit next to a record page configuration.
In Lightning App Builder, drag the Slack component from the Components list to a location
in the record page. You can move the component around the page to a location that suits your
needs.
Click Activation to activate the record page.
Save your changes.
