The Slack panel offers a streamlined way to view and collaborate in Salesforce channels.
You can open and close the panel with one click, so it takes up less room on a record page than
the Slack component when you aren’t using Salesforce channels.

To enable the Slack panel:
Salesforce admin
Enable or Disable the Slack Panel for Your Org
Control whether your users can access Salesforce channels from the Slack panel on
record pages.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and select Slack Channels for
Records.
Click the toggle for Show Slack Button on Selected Objects.
Hide the Slack Panel on Specific Record Pages
By default, the Slack panel appears on all record pages for configured objects. You can
hide the panel on specific record pages.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, search for and select Slack Channels for
Records.
Click the dropdown for the relevant object configuration, then select View
Record Pages.
Click Edit for a record page configuration.
Select the Highlights Panel component.
In the property panel, select Hide Slack button and save your
changes.
