Capability Business Outcome
High-Frequency Accruals Recognize accounting liabilities on a weekly, or monthly cadence to ensure constant profit and loss accuracy.
Specialized Accrual Logic Apply specific accrual rates for financial forecasting, independent of final settlement rules.
Accrual Calculation
  • Retrospective: The rebate is applied to all units once a higher tier is reached. The new rate applies to all units, not just the additional ones.
  • Stepped: The rebate is calculated for each tier separately. For example, if the first 50 units have a rebate of $500 and the next 25 units have a rebate of $500, the total accrual is calculated by summing these amounts.
Aggregate Based Calculation Accruals are calculated by aggregating transaction data across various parameters such as volume, revenue, member, product, or custom dimensions like region and territory.
Data Processing Engine (DPE) with Data Cloud Integration Run Data Processing Engine definitions on Data Cloud to process millions of records through high-performance Batch Transforms without impacting your core Salesforce org's performance.
Accrual Adjustments Empower finance teams to manually adjust accrued amounts.
