Configure Data Cloud Connector
To ingest rebate objects and fields into Data Cloud, update the system permissions for the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector in your Salesforce org.
Required Editions
| Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced enabled. |
- Log in to the Salesforce org that contains the objects and fields that you want to ingest into Data Cloud.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.

Select the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set.
The Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set is available only after you connect your org to Data Cloud.
- Enable the Use Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced and Batch Management User permissions in the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set.
- From Apps, select Object Settings.
- Select the object that you want to ingest into Data Cloud.
- To change the object permissions, click Edit.

Enable Read All, View All Records, and Edit permissions for these objects, ensuring
Read Access for each field:
- Rebate Program
- Rebate Program Accrual Period
- Rebate Program Member
- Rebate Program Member Accrual
- Rebate Program Member Accrual Adjustment
- Rebate Program Member Payout
- Program Rebate Type Program Rebate Type Aggregation Field
- Program Rebate Type Accrual
- Program Rebate Type Accrual Source
- Program Rebate Type Benefit,
- Program Rebate Type Payout,
- Program Rebate Type Payout Source
Note When processing the Rebate Configuration Generation (or subsequent
Rebate DPE templates) in an environment where Data Cloud was already active prior to setup,
the DPE job may fail or throw data visibility/connector errors. Before running any Advanced
Rebate DPE configurations, ensure that you manually verify and assign the object-level
permissions to the connector profile.
