          Key Roles in Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced

          Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced users include admins, rebate program managers, partner users, key account managers, and the finance team. Admins set up and configure features. Rebate program managers design the rebate programs and their incentives based on requirements provided by sales and finance. Partner users are beneficiaries of rebate programs and enroll in programs to maximize their profits by gaining the best incentives. Key account managers craft incentives for their accounts within the sales process to increase revenue. The finance team tracks payments and approvals of payments and incentives, helps with audits, and maintains the book of business.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced enabled.

          Admins

          • Apply integration techniques either to import transaction data from external systems into a custom object in the Salesforce org or to directly populate Transaction Journal records.
          • Set up org configurations, such as approval processes, and grant partners access to view program and accrual details in the Experience Cloud site.
          • Consult sales executives and rebate program managers and customize workflows for rebate accrual calculations.
          • Configure objects, edit page layouts, and design automated processes to enhance the experience of account managers and partners.

          Rebate Program Managers

          • Design rebate programs and enroll members.
          • Define eligibility criteria, benefit thresholds, and calculation parameters for multiple rebate types.
          • Track account data to offer rebates based on purchase patterns.
          • Consult finance teams and track accrual calculations to ensure accurate financial liability tracking.

          Partner Users

          • Align with rebate terms to unlock higher benefits for higher quantity or revenue targets.
          • View and track accrual amounts on the Experience Cloud site and gain insights on financial liabilities recognized for their transactions.

          Key Account Managers

          • Track accruals to understand the financial liabilities.
          • Track partner compliance with sales agreements, monitor account forecasts, and propose incentives.
          • Identify high-performing and low-performing products, territories, and industry segments and create requirements for crafting partner-specific programs and incentives.

          Finance

          • Monitor accruals to understand the financial liabilities.
          • Review and approve rebate programs.
          • Review and approve calculated accrual amounts.
          • Adjust accrued amounts using accrual adjustment records.
