Proactively Improve Org Health with Advisements (Beta)
Advisements is an in-app experience that delivers intelligent, org-specific recommendations directly to admins with step-by-step remediation guidance for improving implementation health. Each advisement is automatically tracked and verified for completion, giving you clear visibility into your org's health.
Why Use Advisements
Salesforce implementation health requires checking multiple tools and manually piecing together signals across your org. Advisements aggregates and prioritizes health-impacting action items into a single, cohesive view so you can act on the most critical issues first.
Advisements helps you:
- Aggregate tech debt: Get a single view of org health action items across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Address security and risk: The advisement engine checks for critical vulnerabilities or system limit risks and routes recommended actions directly to you for remediation.
- Stay proactive: When the system detects org-specific vulnerabilities, it delivers the identified issues and resolution steps straight to you within your flow of work.
How Advisements Work
The advisement system continuously analyzes org-specific signals to identify implementation health risks. When the system detects a risk, it generates an advisement and surfaces it to admin users in-app. Once you complete the recommended actions, the system automatically verifies completion based on your org's telemetry and configuration.
What's in an Advisement
Each advisement has three sections:
- Findings: Context, potential impact, and analysis of issues detected in your org, including supporting data in tabular format.
- Recommended Actions: Steps to resolve the issue. Some actions are automatically tracked for completion. Others are informational.
- Details: Secondary fields including status, priority, owner, and due date.
Focus Areas
Advisements evaluates your org against a growing pool of 14+ advisements across four focus areas—you see only the advisements that trigger based on your org's telemetry and configuration:
- Tool/Feature Adoption: Activate Proactive Monitoring and configure critical alerts for real-time visibility into org limits and high-risk activity. Enable the Licensing Events tool to control when Salesforce applies license provisioning to your org.
- Configuration Cleanup and Modernization: Migrate from retired Workflow Rules
and Process Builder to Salesforce Flow. Replace outdated Visualforce pages with Lightning
Web Components. Stop using the deprecated SOAP API
login()method before its Summer '27 retirement. - Change Preparedness, Testing, and Deployment: Deploy changes at off-peak hours. Run Scale Center after major deployments to catch performance bottlenecks. Use ApexGuru Insights to detect Apex code issues before they affect users.
- Availability Best Practices: Reduce risks to org stability and security posture. Enable SSO to enforce centralized identity policies. Turn on Security Health Check notifications to stay ahead of score changes. Use the hard-delete option for bulk API deletions to prevent Recycle Bin buildup from affecting database performance.
- Set Up Advisements (Beta)
As a Salesforce admin, turn on Advisements from Setup to start generating org-specific health recommendations.
