AI Relationship Research

AI Relationship Research is an AI-powered feature that automatically discovers, analyzes, and presents relationship intelligence about the people and organizations connected to your Salesforce records.

AI Relationship Research scans multiple data sources such as your CRM records, public web content, and Data 360 simultaneously and provides the top-ranked connections directly within your workflow, so you can act on them without leaving Salesforce.

AI Relationship Research has two main parts:

• Research service: Uses generative AI to find and analyze relationships connected to your Account, Contact, Lead, and Opportunity records, drawing on your CRM data, public web content, and Data 360 objects and documents.
• Relationship graph component: A Lightning web component that displays those relationships as an interactive graph visualization, with relationship analysis, strength indicators, and source citations for each connection.

When you open an Account, Opportunity, Contact, or Lead record, click Start Research in the AI Relationship Research component to start research. AI Relationship Research searches across your configured data sources and generates a relationship graph showing the top eight people and organizations connected to your record. Each connection includes a plain-language description of the relationship, evidence links to the source data, and options to act directly, such as confirming a suggested record match, creating a new Salesforce record from a discovered entity, or continuing the conversation in Agentforce.

AI Relationship Research is highly configurable. Admins can tailor the feature to the specific needs of their organization by selecting which object types to research, which data sources to search across, and which relationship types to prioritize, such as company leadership, prior employers, educational affiliations, non-profit associations, or investors.
