AI Relationship Research Data Sources

AI Relationship Research draws from three independent data source categories: public web search, internal Salesforce CRM records, and Data 360 objects and data libraries.

Each source contributes a different type of relationship evidence, and they work together to build the most complete picture of your target record's relationship network. Configuring additional sources expands the depth and quality of the insights AI Relationship Research surfaces.

  • Web search: If you’ve enabled Data 360, the Web search retriever is available by default. The feature uses Bright Data as a subprocessor for web search.
  • CRM records: AI Relationship Research searches over Account and Contact records in the org. This search is always on and requires no extra setup.
  • Data 360 search: Requires one or more configured search retrievers to surface relationships and evidence from any configured DMO. See Retrieve Data and Manage Retrievers.

The relationship graph uses edge styles to distinguish how relationships are identified. See Edges.
