AI Relationship Research Relationship Graph
The relationship graph is the primary way you interact with AI Relationship Research, displaying up to eight related people and organizations as nodes around your target record.
The target record you are researching appears at the center of the graph as the parent node. Up to eight related people and organizations appear as entities around it, each connected to the center by a line.
An example of the AI Relationship Research graph:
Nodes
Each node represents a related person or organization. An icon on the node indicates whether it is a person or an organization.
Additional icons indicate the node's status and what actions are available:
- A star badge indicates the top three prioritized relationships that AI Relationship Research has identified.
- A link icon indicates that the node is matched to an existing Salesforce record. Click the node to open the Entity Details panel, then click View Record to open the record, Confirm Record to confirm the match, or Remove Record to remove the match.
- A plus icon indicates that no Salesforce record exists for this node yet. Click the node to open the Entity Details panel, then click Create Record to create a new record from the discovered entity.
Edges
Each edge connects a node to the center record or parent node and indicates how the relationship was identified:
- Solid edge (line): Indicates a relationship identified through CRM search.
- Dotted edge (line): Indicates a relationship identified through web or Data 360 search. If a new CRM record is created from a web or Data 360 identified relationship, the edge changes from dotted to solid.
Small icons layered on top of each edge indicate the data source from which the relationship is sourced: CRM records, Data 360, or the public web. When you hover over the edges, a pop-up also provides the data source type.
Entity Details Panel
Click a node to open the Entity Details panel. The panel shows these details:
- The node's name and whether the node is a person or an organization.
- Context: An AI-generated description of the node.
- Citation: A quoted excerpt from the source material and a link to the original source.
From the panel, click View Record to open the associated Salesforce record if one exists, or Create Record to create a new record from a discovered node. You can also remove a relationship from the graph, or confirm a web-identified node as a match with an existing CRM record.
Relationship Details Panel
Click an edge to open the Relationship Details panel. The panel shows these details:
- Both connected nodes and their type (person or organization).
- Connection Context: An AI-generated description of the relationship between the two nodes and why it matters.
- Relationship Strength: An AI-generated description of the relationship's strength and actionability.
- Citation: A quoted excerpt from the source material and a link to the original source. A link appears only if the data source is web.
From the panel, click View Record to open the associated Salesforce record if one exists already, or Create Record to create a new record from a discovered node. From this panel, you can also remove a relationship from the graph, or confirm a web-identified node as being a match with an existing CRM record.
