Troubleshoot OAuth and Connected Apps Access Blockages
Resolve OAuth and Connected Apps issues that block access when you authenticate the Archive app.
Symptoms of OAuth access blockages include:
- The Archive dashboard is inaccessible.
- The connected app shows blocked actions in OAuth Usage.
- You can't access Archive after permission updates.
To resolve these issues, complete these steps.
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter OAuth Usage, and then select Connected Apps OAuth Usage.
- In the Search field, enter Archive, and then select your Archive app.
-
Verify that all actions associated with the app are unblocked.
If you see blocked actions, select them, and then click Unblock.
- Review the connected app policies, and verify that the System Administrator and Integration User profiles are listed under Permitted Users. If these profiles are missing, add them to the permitted users list.
-
Re-authenticate the Archive app. In Archive Settings, go to the
Authenticated User tab and change the Authenticated
User.
Note Re-authentication isn't required for customers on Hyperforce.
- From the App Launcher, find and select Archive, and then verify that the dashboard loads without errors.
- If the issue persists, verify that the Authenticated User has the Archive Admin permission set assigned.
The Archive app is now accessible, and OAuth actions are unblocked.
