Timesheets Agent with Agentforce
Use AI-powered Agentforce capabilities to edit and delete timesheet records through natural language interactions, reducing manual data entry and improving timesheet management efficiency for field service teams.
Field service technicians and crew leads manage timesheet data daily, often needing to correct entries, update times, or remove duplicate records. The Timesheets Agent leverages Salesforce Agentforce to provide conversational AI assistance for common timesheet management tasks, reducing the friction of navigating through multiple screens to make simple changes.
The Agentforce integration requires the Timesheets Agentforce add-on license. Organizations must contact their Salesforce account team to enable the add-on before configuring the AI capabilities. Once enabled, the feature can be activated through the Advanced Timesheets and Labor Cost Optimization Settings page in Setup.
- Edit and Delete Timesheet Operations
The Timesheets Agent already supports creating and deleting Timesheet records. Now we’ve added the ability to edit existing timesheet records, including modifying start times, end times, subjects, and associated work orders. Users can also delete timesheet records that were created in error. These operations are performed through natural language requests to the agent, which validates the changes against business rules before applying them. - Enabling AI and Agentforce for Timesheets
To enable the Timesheets Agent, navigate to the Advanced Timesheets and Labor Cost Optimization Settings page in Setup. The Enable AI and Agentforce for Timesheets toggle activates the conversational AI capabilities. This feature requires the Timesheets Agentforce add-on license, which must be provisioned separately from the base Timesheets and Labor Cost Optimization license
