            Pause Scheduled Backups

            Pause and resume scheduled backups as needed. On-demand backups, compare, restore, and other app activities are still available when your scheduled backups are paused.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Backup & Recover Data and Backup & Recover Files add-on licenses
            User Permissions Needed
            To pause scheduled backups: Run Backup
            1. In Salesforce Backup & Recover Next, click the Settings tab.
            2. From the navigation bar on the left, click Schedule.
            3. Set Scheduled Backups to Inactive.

            Scheduled backups no longer run automatically. To resume backups, switch Scheduled Backups back to Active.
