Restore Specific Fields

To avoid overwriting valid changes in objects you restore, select specific fields to restore.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Backup & Recover Data and Backup & Recover Files add-on licenses
User Permissions Needed
To run restore: Run Restore
To view restore results: View Restore
  1. From a compare report, select the object you want to restore.
  2. Click the settings icon and select Fields to Restore.
  3. To only include fields with detected changes, select Only include changed fields.
  4. Under Excluded fields, select all the fields to include and move them to Included fields.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Continue to preview restore or restore the object.

Only fields in the Included fields list are restored.
