Retry Failed Records

Retry Failed Records

Review your restore results to identify records that failed, and then reattempt the restoration.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Backup & Recover Data and Backup & Recover Files add-on licenses
User Permissions Needed
To run restore: Run Restore
To view restore results: View Restore
  1. In the restore results, review the error messages and confirm if your org settings caused any of the errors. If so, update these settings to prevent the errors from repeating.
  2. From the restore results, click Retry Restore. All the failed and partially failed records are added to a new restore activity.
  3. Confirm that:
    1. You have the Modify All Data permission.
    2. Email Deliverability is disabled.
    3. Validation rules, triggers, and workflows are disabled.
  4. Click Restore.

A new restore activity begins. When completed, the activity updates with the results.
