How Campaign Marketplace Connects Vendors and Partners?

Campaign Marketplace gives your partners a central place to discover campaigns and campaign resources that your company approves for partner use. A channel marketing manager creates a standard campaign, shares the campaign with partner using Sharing rules, and chooses whether partners can sign up.

Partners browse campaigns in the Campaign Marketplace component on an Experience Cloud site. Salesforce checks eligibility when a partner selects the sign-up action, rather than when the marketplace loads.

Marketing Cloud handles the execution of marketing messages and journeys through Distributed Marketing.

Partner Eligibility and Campaign Sign-Up

The eligible partners can use:

  • Partner loyalty tier
  • Attributes on the partner user or account
  • Available market development funds

When an eligible partner signs up, Salesforce creates a child campaign under the vendor campaign. The child campaign inherits the marketing assets from the parent campaign, and the partner becomes its owner.

Records remain isolated between partner accounts unless they’re explicitly shared.

Parent and Child Campaigns

The vendor campaign remains the parent campaign and source for approved marketing assets. Each partner sign-up creates a separate child campaign.

Partners can edit inherited assets as part of sending a campaign. Saved reusable drafts and default asset customizations aren’t supported.
