Capabilities of Data Cloud in Channel Revenue Management
Use Data Cloud with Channel Revenue Management to process high-volume incentive data,
power analytics dashboards, and run scalable calculations. Connect your rebate, channel
inventory, stock rotation, and accrual data to Data Cloud to offload complex processing from
your Salesforce org and give finance and operations teams visibility into financial
commitments.

Stream Rebate Data for Tableau Next Analytics by Using Data Kits
Use the Channel Revenue Management data kit to stream rebate program data from your
Salesforce Core org to Data Cloud. By mapping rebate program definitions to standard data
model objects (DMOs), you get a unified data foundation that powers Tableau Next dashboards
for multi-dimensional analytics and real-time business intelligence.
Scale Incentive Processing with Data Cloud Engine
Manufacturers handling high-volume operations such as rebates, stock rotation, and channel
inventory require a robust processing engine capable of large-scale data transformation. By
executing Data Processing Engine (DPE) definitions within Data Cloud, you can:
Process at scale: Support complex incentive processing with significantly higher speed
and efficiency.
Offload execution payloads: Shift processing workloads entirely to Salesforce's big data
cluster infrastructure.
Prevent time-outs: Transform millions of transaction rows simultaneously without
triggering standard transaction limits or time-outs.
To run advanced accrual calculations on Data Cloud, deploy the Accrual and Payout Engine
data kit. This data kit is separate from the Channel Revenue Management data kit:
The Channel Revenue Management data kit creates the data streams and DMOs for ingesting
rebate program data into Data Cloud.
The Accrual and Payout Engine data kit creates the Data Lake Objects (DLOs) that the
calculation engine reads from and writes to during accrual processing.
When a rebate program's Execution Type is set to Advanced, the six DPE definitions run
entirely within Data Cloud's batch transform infrastructure, improving performance and
eliminating org-level processing limits. For setup and configuration, see Manage Accrual Calculations in Rebate and Accrual
Management Advanced.
