          Configure Core Rebates System Permissions for Data Cloud Salesforce Connector

          Configure the core Rebates system permissions on the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set to prevent object accessibility errors during installation or data stream deployment.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
          User Permissions Needed
          To configure data kit installation permissions

          Salesforce org: Customize Application

          AND

          Data Cloud org: Data Cloud Admin

          1. Log in to the Salesforce core org that you connected to Data Cloud.
          2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets.
          3. Find and select the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set.
          4. Click System Permissions, and then click Edit.
          5. Select the checkbox to enable the appropriate permission based on your active product license.
            • Use Manufacturing Rebates (if using Manufacturing Rebates)
            • Use Rebate and Accrual Management Advanced (if using Advanced Rebates)
          6. Click Save.
          7. Return to your Data Cloud org, go to Data Cloud Setup | Data Kits, and retry your target deployment or data stream initialization.
          Note
          Note After these system permissions are enabled for the connector, you can also create standalone data streams for individual core Rebate objects directly from the Data Streams tab without installing the complete data kit.
