Export the Data Processing Engine Template

Export the JSON definition file from an existing CRMA-based Data Processing Engine (DPE) so that you have the configuration to modify for Data Cloud.

Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
User Permissions Needed
To export a Data Processing Engine template Customize Application
  1. Navigate to Salesforce Setup.
  2. In the Quick Find box, search for and select Data Processing Engine.
  3. Under All Data Processing Engine Definitions, locate your CRMA-based template.
  4. Click the DPE definition name to open the visual builder canvas interface.
  5. In the builder top action bar, click the Download button (represented by an underline-arrow icon).
  6. Save the generated .json file to your local file system. The default name format is [Your_DPE_Name].json.
    You have the template JSON ready to modify for Data Cloud.
