Create a Stock Rotation Incentive Program

Rebate program managers can create a stock rotation incentive program to help partners manage inventory by offering rebates for rotating old or excess stock.

Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions that have Stock Rotation enabled.
User Permissions Needed
To create a Stock Rotation Incentive Program Stock Rotation Admin permission set
  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Rebate Programs.
  2. Click New.
  3. Provide values for these fields.
    Field Description
    Name Name of the program.
    Status

    Status of the program.

    • Draft

    • Active

    • Inactive

    A program is created in Draft status. To process claims, set the program status to Active.
    Start Date Start date of the program. Claims with an activity date before the start date aren’t considered for payout calculations.
    Type

    Type of the program.

    Select 'Stock Rotation' as the type to create a stock rotation rebate program.
    End Date End date of the program. Claims with an activity date after the end date aren’t considered for payout calculations.
    Program Reference Number User-defined reference number of the stock rotation program. Partners submit stock rotation claims against this reference number.
    Frequency

    Frequency for generating payout periods.

    Select ‘On Demand’ for Stock Rotation Incentive program type.
    Transaction Grace Days The extra number of days for partners to submit claims after the program ends.
    Link to Program Details Optional field to add a link to the program details and share the link with partners using the Experience Cloud site.
  4. Save your changes.

  • Name: Winter Seasonal Stock Rotation 2026
  • Status: Draft
  • Start Date: January 1, 2026
  • End Date: June 30, 2026
  • Frequency: On Demand
  • Link to Program Details: https://partnerportal.com/winter-stock-rotation
  • Description: A stock rotation program for seasonal winter inventory items.
  • Program Reference Number: SR-WINT-2026
  • Type: Stock Rotation
