The Non-GA Services are used in conjunction with GA Services which consume paid credits or entitlements ("entitlements"). Any corresponding consumption of entitlements arising from Customer's use of the Non-GA Services shall not give rise to any refund or credit rights.
Before you ingest content into Data 360, make sure that Data 360 is set up for your org. See Get Started Using Data 360 and Set Up and Maintain.
For the beta release, keep these considerations in mind.
- Currently, only content metadata, such as the title, description, or image alt text, get ingested into Data 360.
- You can’t deploy the CMS Base (Beta) data kit in a companion org.
Enable the Beta Functionality and Assign User Permissions
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter CMS and select Salesforce CMS.
- Turn on Ingest CMS Content into Data 360 (Beta).
- Next, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets and select Permission Sets.
-
Find the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set and open it for editing.
For more information about the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set, see Data 360 Standard Permission Sets.
- Open System Permissions and select Enable Salesforce CMS Integration.
- Go back to the Data Cloud Salesforce Connector permission set and open App Permissions.
- Select View Content Taxonomy, and save your changes.
Deploy the CMS Base (Beta) Data Kit
When you deploy the CMS Base (Beta) data kit, Data 360 immediately starts to ingest your CMS content.
- Go to Data Cloud Setup. In the Quick Find box, enter Data Kits and select Data Kits.
- Find and open the CMS Base (Beta) data kit.
- On the data kit page, click Data Kit Deploy.
- Select a data space. If you’re planning to create a search index, select the default data space.
-
Enter your org ID for both the
sfm_CmsContentBundleand thesfm_ContentTaxonomyBundle. - Click Deploy.
After you deploy the data kit, when a user creates, updates, deletes, or publishes content in Salesforce CMS, these updates sync with Data 360 based on the data transform schedule. When a user updates a content taxonomy or a content item’s tags, those updates also sync with Data 360.
If you deploy this data kit in multiple data spaces and then uninstall this data kit from one data space, data transforms are removed from all data spaces.
Schedule Data Transforms
- From the App Launcher, open Data Cloud and go to Data Transforms.
- Open the All Data Transforms list view.
-
Schedule these transforms to run at your preferred frequency.

- Configure the transform schedule and save your changes.
The cost for data transforms depends on the number of records processed during each transform. For more information about costs, see Billing Considerations for Data Transforms.
