Expanded Partner Management
With Expanded Partner Management, brands can bill partners for the liability that the loyalty program has accrued when members of the program purchase a partner product or service. Brands can set up a prepaid or a postpaid billing system for partners, review the value that the partner is bringing to the program, and track partner transaction history. Brands can also run joint promotions along with parnters to increase the program's appeal to members.
- Billing Type Options for Partners
While creating a Loyalty Program Partner record, you can specify the billing type—Prepaid or Postpaid—for your partner. - Partner Transactions
Loyalty programs track expenses incurred by a program or a partner for member redemptions, accrual cancellations, and custom processes. These calculations can be used to determine the value a partner brings to the loyalty program. - Partner Ledgers
Partner transactions generate Loyalty Program Partner Ledger records. For prepaid billing, the ledger debits points from the partner's points balance or adds points to the partner's credited points. For postpaid billing, the ledger debits the amount from the partner's balance or adds the amount to the partner's bill amount. - Partner’s Conversion Factor for Currencies
A loyalty program can have multiple currencies. Members can accrue or redeem points of multiple currencies for each partner transaction. To calculate the partner’s credited or debited points, the loyalty program and the partner decide the conversion factor for the currencies that are used in partner transactions. The conversion factor applies to both prepaid billing and postpaid billing. - Create Prepaid Points Pack for a Partner
Partners who opt for prepaid billing purchase points from the loyalty program in packs. These points are added to the partner’s purchased points. When a member accrues points for a partner transaction, points are deducted from the partner’s purchased points. Points from the earliest purchased pack are deducted first. If the earlier pack doesn’t have the required points for a transaction, then the points are deducted from the succeeding pack. - Create Partner Ledgers and Update Partner Balances Definition
The Create Partner Ledgers and Update Partner Balances Data Processing Engine definition template creates partner ledgers and updates partner balances based on the processed partner transactions. - Manage Partner Points for Prepaid Billing (Example)

Admins can provide partners access to a loyalty program’s Experience Cloud site so that partners can view their partnership details. Partners can view their transaction journals, partner ledgers, partner currencies, joint promotions, and products. Prepaid partners can also view the prepaid packs that they purchased. - FAQs for Expanded Partner Management
