Publish the Global Consent Definition

Publish a Global Consent Definition to activate it for use.

Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions. Requires the Privacy Center license.

Add the definition's key attributes before you publish.

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Privacy Center, and then select the Global Consent tab.
  2. Under Configuration, select Global Consent Definitions.
  3. Open the Global Consent Definition that you want to publish.
  4. Confirm that you added all key attributes.
  5. Click Publish.
    From the confirmation window, review the details, and then publish the definition.
Note
Note After a definition is used to create a consent record, you can unpublish it, but you can't delete it.
Tip
Tip To make a new version of a definition, open it and click Clone.
