How Loyalty Management Consolidates Subcurrency Point Balances
When members transact, Loyalty Management uses Loyalty Aggregated Point Expiration
Ledger records to consolidate point balances based on currency, subcurrency, and expiration
date. The system performs real-time aggregation for all subtypes regardless of the settings on
the Loyalty Management Settings page.

Developer Editions with Loyalty Management - Advanced
For subcurrencies with activity-based expiration, Loyalty Management assigns a distant
placeholder expiration date, December 31, 2999, in aggregate ledger records. The system uses
this date to consolidate point balances and standardize processing across activity-based and
fixed-expiration subcurrencies.
