            Considerations to Disable Traceability

            Learn how to manage unprocessed redemption records and understand the impact of disabling traceability on existing records.

            • If there are any unprocessed traceable redemption transactions, run the Map Traceable Points for Redemption Transactions invocable action before you disable traceability.
            • Before you disable the global traceability setting for currencies with a specific expiration model, deselect the Allow Ledger Tracing checkbox on every currency record that uses that model. For example, before you disable Point Tracing for Fixed Duration Currencies, deselect Allow Ledger Tracing for each currency that use the fixed-duration expiration model.
            • After you disable traceability, Loyalty Management no longer uses subtype information to process records. All existing points with subcurrencies are treated as the base currency.
